On the 11th, Jeong In-jae, the chief judge in charge of warrants at the Seoul Western District Court, announced that arrest warrants were issued for Jeong (45) and Lee (31), who are accused of violating the Narcotics Control Act (psychotropic substances) and other charges. Chief Judge Jeong explained the reason for issuing the warrants as "concerns over evidence tampering and flight risk." However, for Kim (31), who underwent the pre-arrest suspect interrogation (warrant review) together, the arrest warrant was dismissed, stating, "It is difficult to consider a flight risk, and evidence has been secured by the investigative authorities."
They underwent the warrant review at the Seoul Western District Court at 10:30 a.m. that day. None of them responded to reporters' questions such as "Were there more attendees beyond the 21 people?" "Do you admit to drug use charges?" "What are the circumstances of the deceased police officer's death?" "Did the police officer also purchase drugs?" before entering the courtroom.
