Great Response from Visitors to Affordable Agricultural Products Sale
Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Lee Sang-cheol) announced on the 9th that members of the Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Center participated in the Ttukbang Market to operate a direct agricultural products marketplace.
Members of the Gokseong-gun Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Association sold various agricultural products such as Baeksemi rice, chili peppers, perilla leaves, pumpkins, lettuce, and dried vegetables at affordable prices, receiving great responses from visitors.
The association members not only operated the direct transaction market at the Ttukbang Market but also provided support policy guidance and one-on-one consultations for tourists wishing to return to farming or rural living.
Additionally, the members plan to actively introduce and promote various educational programs offered by the Gokseong-gun Return-to-Farming and Return-to-Village Support Center, such as life skills training, farming experience education, and the Farming Doctor program, to those planning to settle in Gokseong.
Member A, who participated, said, "Many hopeful returnees to farming and rural living have concerns about how to start farming in Gokseong-gun. I feel proud that this event provided consultations promoting Gokseong-gun’s specialized crops and support policies, which I believe will be helpful to the hopeful participants."
A county official said, "It is truly gratifying to see returnees to farming and rural living settle well, produce agricultural products, and actively participate as members of the Gokseong community. We also hope that senior returnees will share rural information well with new returnees."

Also, on the 28th, in celebration of Chuseok, an event will be held preparing rice cakes and beverages for returning visitors, along with providing consultations on return-to-farming and rural living.
