Muan-gun Continues Participation in Hometown Love Donation Relay Campaign

Donors No. 9 and No. 10 Consecutively Follow

Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 11th that donations supporting the development of Muan have continued as participation in the Hometown Love Donation Relay has been made one after another since the 8th.

The Muan County Hometown Love Donation Relay is a campaign promoted to practice love for the hometown Muan by having local leaders such as heads of institutions and social organizations take the lead in actively discovering donors among family, friends, and acquaintances and encouraging their participation in donations.

Recently, interest in the Hometown Love Donation System has declined and donations have gradually decreased, so Muan County is actively promoting the Hometown Love Donation Relay campaign once again to raise awareness of the donation system, create a donation boom, and revitalize fundraising.

Kang Cheol-won, CEO of YouTube Co., Ltd. and a native of Haeje, expressed his intention to participate after hearing news from his hometown and joined the donation on the 8th. Professor Lee Ho-seon of Soongsil Cyber University, who served as a lecturer at the commemorative event for Gender Equality Week, also expressed his intention to participate in donations for Muan County, participating as the 9th and 10th donors, respectively.

Governor Kim San said, “I deeply appreciate the support and donations from the two individuals sent to Muan County,” and added, “We will actively discover fund projects for the future of Muan with the warm hearts of the donors and repay that kindness by making Muan a prosperous place.”
