On the 8th, about 60 people including Hana Tour employees, official certified reservation centers, and affiliates participated in the 'Hana Tour Forest Coming Day,' a Han River forest care activity, at Jamwon District of Seoul Hangang Citizen's Park.
Hana Tour supported the improvement of the park usage environment for citizens through bench donations, and prepared a Forest Coming exhibition featuring stories of the forest nurtured over 10 years, along with a forest interpretation tour to share the importance and value of urban forests with participants. Additionally, through volunteer activities such as removing invasive species and soil nourishment, they worked to help the forest restore and maintain its natural state.
This activity was organized to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Hana Tour's environmental protection and ecological education program for the Han River forest, which began in 2014 through an agreement with Seoul Green Trust. Hana Tour conducted volunteer activities involving employees, their families, and partners to plant and care for trees each season on 40,012㎡ of idle land lacking greenery within Jamwon Hangang Park. The total amount of absorbed carbon dioxide (CO₂) through this effort reached 2.1 tons.
