KT Participates in ICT Exhibition with Ventures and Startups... Supports Expansion of Overseas Market Access
KT announced that it will support the participation of excellent small and startup partner companies with global competitiveness in renowned global ICT exhibitions to help them explore overseas markets and support their growth.
The three exhibitions targeted are IBC2023 held from the 15th to 18th in Amsterdam, Netherlands; MWC 2023 held from the 26th to 28th in Las Vegas, USA; and GITEX2023 held from the 16th to 20th next month in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Through supporting participation in these exhibitions, KT’s strategy is to provide opportunities for ventures and startups with high growth potential to grow into KT’s core partners.
IBC2023 (International Broadcasting Convention) is a world-renowned broadcasting and media exhibition conference, as well as a media, entertainment, and technology exhibition.
Centered on KT’s media sector partners, five companies will participate: Marsys (AI set-top box), O2O (meta-knowledge generation and curation solution), Remote Solution (eco-friendly remote control), Innerwave (Dr.Genie, OTT platform monitoring system), and Anypoint Media (advertising platform solution).
MWC, hosted by GSMA, is a B2B ICT exhibition aiming to secure export opportunities for participating companies.
There are five participating companies: Hoseong Technics (coaxial connectors, power distributors), Hurim Networks (base station/in-building antennas), Clika (automated lightweight AI solution), IdeaLink (AI golf swing analysis system), and Woorinet (quantum cryptography key distributor).
GITEX is the largest ICT exhibition in the Middle East and Africa region, where export consultations led by local buyers are especially active, and the exhibition’s core is an investment attraction program for startups.
Including KT, five companies will participate: Glim Media (K-pop fandom platform), Linkflow (360-degree wearable camera), Bear Robotics (indoor delivery and serving solutions), Wooriro (quantum cryptography sensor), and Seongchang (ultra-compact DC uninterruptible power supply).
KT will set up a 'KT Partners Pavilion' booth inside the exhibition hall. Each partner company will expand overseas market channels through service and product demonstrations and buyer consultations.
