Jang Do-yeon Confirmed as New MC of 'Radio Star'... Filling Ahn Young-mi's Spot
Joining Other Fixed MC Members
Broadcaster Jang Do-yeon is set to appear as the new MC of MBC's entertainment program 'Radio Star,' replacing comedian Ahn Young-mi.
According to YTN on the 8th, Jang Do-yeon has been confirmed as the new host of Radio Star. Previously, in July, Radio Star switched to a special MC system after one of its hosts, Ahn Young-mi, stepped down due to childbirth. Various other stars have filled Ahn Young-mi's spot during this period.
Since then, the broadcaster has been searching for a successor, and recently, after PD Lee Yoon-hwa left the program and PD Kim Myung-yeop took over as the main director, the MC lineup is reportedly being reorganized.
Jang Do-yeon, who has taken on the new MC role, has already had ties with Radio Star. She appeared as a special MC last month and showcased her witty charm. She is expected to work alongside other fixed MCs such as broadcasters Kim Guk-jin, Kim Gu-ra, and Yoo Se-yoon.
