Buan Coast Guard Inspects Water Leisure Businesses Ahead of Autumn Holiday Season
Buan Maritime Police Station (Chief Seong Giju) visited the watersports business site at Gosapo Beach in Buan-gun on the 7th to conduct safety inspections and urge safety measures for users in preparation for the increase in tourists during the autumn leisure season.
According to the Maritime Police on the 8th, it is expected that leisure activity participants and tourists in the jurisdiction will increase due to the autumn leisure season and consecutive holidays such as Chuseok and National Foundation Day.

On that day, the Maritime Police visited the watersports business site at Gosapo Beach to check the possession and condition of lifesaving equipment, whether lifeguards were on duty, and the overall management status of safety facilities.
They urged workers to strictly observe safety-related matters such as prohibiting reckless operation and exceeding the passenger capacity.
They also expressed gratitude for the active cooperation in daily work, such as immediate assistance during the recent search for a drifting person at sea near Gosapo Beach.
Chief Seong Giju said, "We will do our best to prevent accidents proactively so that many citizens visiting the area can enjoy safe and pleasant watersports activities."
