Opening of 'Mapo-type Pollution ZERO Smart Farm'
Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) held an opening ceremony for the 'Mapo-type Pollution ZERO Smart Farm' on the first floor of the district office building on the 7th.
The 'Mapo-type Pollution ZERO Smart Farm,' created in a leftover space at the Mapo-gu Office, is an eco-friendly plant cultivation facility that combines the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). At the opening ceremony, Mayor Park Gang-su and other executives attended and unveiled the plaque to celebrate the launch of the smart farm.
Additionally, a special session was arranged for 5-year-old children from the Mapo-gu Office daycare center to experience the smart farm, sparking great curiosity among the attending children.
Mayor Park Gang-su stated, "Local governments must keep pace with the changing industrial landscape. Mapo-gu will do its best to improve the quality of life for residents by nurturing future talents who lead next-generation industrial technologies and expanding eco-friendly food production facilities like smart farms within the district."
