Pukyong National University held a special lecture on the afternoon of the 6th in the large conference room on the 2nd floor of the university headquarters, inviting Kim Woo-seung, President of the Korea Engineering Education Accreditation Board (former President of Hanyang University).
On this day, President Kim delivered a special lecture to Pukyong University professors, staff, and other members under the theme "Development Directions and Efforts of Regional National Universities: Establishing a Sustainable Industry-Academia-Research Education and Research Platform."

He stated, "Compared to online education, university education in physical spaces must present clear differentiators that can enhance the value of students," and added, "It should be the university's mission to cultivate creativity and problem-solving skills."
He continued, "Universities should provide more experiences and education that offer opportunities to connect knowledge and experience," emphasizing, "There is a need for continuous innovation by educators in educational content, methods, and environments, such as expanding team teaching, and universities must increase their social impact by expanding research functions that solve regional and corporate problems."
