Gyeonggi-do to Host 'Gyeonggi Environmental Industry Expo' at Suwon Convention Center from 20th to 22nd
Gyeonggi Province will hold the "2023 Gyeonggi Environmental Industry Fair (Eco Fair Korea)" at the Suwon Convention Center from the 20th to the 22nd.
The Gyeonggi Environmental Industry Fair is a comprehensive environmental technology exhibition started in 2017 to foster the environmental industry and support market expansion. This year, about 150 environmental companies and organizations will participate with approximately 350 booths.
Public institutions such as Korea Water Resources Corporation and Korea Environment Corporation will also promote government-certified excellent companies.
As an opening event, a business agreement for the pilot project to establish the "RE100 Charging Station" will be conducted, and a "Climate Tech Special Pavilion" will be created to introduce startups and other companies involved in greenhouse gas reduction and related projects.
The RE100 Charging Station installs renewable energy facilities such as solar panels on rooftops to produce and sell electricity, providing charging services for electric and hydrogen vehicles. Next year, 34 gas stations in 18 cities and counties within the province will participate in the project.
Additional events such as public institution procurement consultations, a carbon-neutral fund investment attraction briefing (Pitching Day), and a startup competition will also be held.
This year’s exhibition will simultaneously host the "London Natural History Museum Climate Change Experience Gyeonggi Special Exhibition."
