Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Talent Development Institute Holds 4th New Employee Induction Ceremony of the Year
On the 4th, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Talent Development Institute (President Hwang Ju-ho, Director Ahn Hyung-joon) held an entrance ceremony for 196 new employees of the 4th batch of 2023 at the institute's main auditorium, welcoming the new staff who will lead the company's future.
The ceremony was attended by labor and management representatives, including Executive Vice President Jeon Dae-wook and Central Labor Union Chairman Choi Young-doo, and proceeded with the presentation of appointment letters, trainee oath-taking, badge awarding, and welcoming speeches.
In his welcoming speech, Executive Vice President Jeon Dae-wook said, “I hope you grow into talents with confidence and vision, an open attitude and high ethical standards, and warm hearts grateful to your family and the company,” urging them to build their skills during the basic training course and probation period and become top experts in their assigned tasks.
Following this, a special lecture on KHNP’s values and current challenges was given to the new employees, along with a ‘Sympathy Talk with the Executive Vice President’ session, where new employees freely and honestly communicated based on their areas of interest such as self-development.

Going forward, the new employees will complete a three-week orientation course covering understanding KHNP’s value system, workplace etiquette, communication, and other basic competencies required as employees. Afterward, they will undergo nine weeks of basic practical training tailored to their job groups, such as nuclear fundamentals for nuclear staff and office work basics for administrative staff, before being assigned to each business site around the end of November.
