Kim Han-gyun, Vice Chairman of the Yeonggwang County Council, recently received the ‘Korea Local Assembly Service Award’ from the 252nd Meeting of the Korea Association of City, County and District Council Chairpersons held at the Yeonggwang Culture and Arts Center.

According to the Yeonggwang County Council on the 4th, the Korea Local Assembly Service Award is given after a rigorous review to local council members nationwide who have devoted themselves to representing public opinion and contributing to local governance and community development.

Vice Chairman Kim is recognized for exemplary legislative activities as a local worker, swiftly resolving various regional issues through close communication with the field and community-oriented legislative efforts.

Vice Chairman Kim Han-gyun said, “I am deeply moved to receive this meaningful award,” adding, “I accept it as encouragement to faithfully fulfill my duties as a council member for the development of the residents and the local community, and I will repay this through active legislative activities.”
