Naju-si Operates 'Visiting Jeonse Damage Counseling Center' Until the 15th

Naju City in Jeollanam-do is operating a "Visiting Jeonse Damage Counseling Center" at the Naju Public Interest Activity Support Center in Bitgaram-dong until the 15th (excluding holidays).

According to the city on the 4th, this counseling center is part of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's "Support Measures for Jeonse Fraud Victims and Housing Stability," organized by the Ministry and the Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG).

The Bitgaram-dong Naju City Public Interest Activity Support Center will operate the "Visiting Jeonse Damage Counseling Center" until the 15th.

It provides free legal consultations related to jeonse damage through lawyers and judicial scriveners for tenants who have suffered from jeonse fraud, guidance on low-interest, interest-free, and refinancing loans, linkage to housing support such as public rental housing by LH and local urban corporations, and psychological recovery counseling due to jeonse damage.

The operating hours are from 12 PM to 8 PM on weekdays, and for legal consultations, visitors are advised to bring the lease contract and the certified copy of the register for smooth consultation.

Tenants or institutions who have difficulty moving or feel burdened to go out and wish to use the visiting service can make a reservation in advance with the Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation.

Mayor Yoon Byung-tae said, "I hope the Visiting Jeonse Damage Counseling Center will provide practical help in legal, financial support, and housing and psychological stability for tenants who have suffered jeonse damage," and added, "We will continue to do our best to prevent and support victims of jeonse fraud."

Meanwhile, the city operates legal consultation services related to jeonse fraud damage at the Legal Affairs Office on the 3rd floor of the City Hall (Main Building).
