Son Bo-ik, President of LX Semicon, Joins Single-Use Plastics Zero Challenge
Son Bo-ik, CEO of LX Semicon, participated in the ‘Single-Use Products Zero (ZERO) Challenge’.
The ‘Single-Use Products Zero Challenge’ is a nationwide environmental campaign initiated by the Ministry of Environment. It involves pledging to reduce the use of single-use products in daily life and increase the use of reusable products by posting the commitment on social networking services (SNS) while nominating the next participant.
CEO Son joined the challenge after being nominated by Han Myung-ho, CEO of LX Hausys. He recommended Jung Cheol-dong, CEO of LG Innotek, and Ji Jong-rip, CEO of Amkor Technology Korea, as the next relay participants.
CEO Son said, “Taking action to reduce single-use products and create a better environment is not a matter of choice,” adding, “I will participate in efforts to pass on a sustainable environment to the next generation and create a world worth living for all of us.”
