Samsung C&T's 'Ami' Opens First Domestic Duty-Free Store in Myeongdong

French designer brand 'Ami' from Samsung C&T Fashion Division announced on the 4th that it has opened its first duty-free store in Korea at Lotte Duty Free Myeongdong Main Branch in Jung-gu, Seoul.
The company explained that the first duty-free store was established to expand communication not only with global customers from China, Southeast Asia, Japan, but also with domestic consumers through various sales channels.
At the Ami Lotte Duty Free Myeongdong Main Branch store, they sell clothing such as basic T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, cardigans featuring the signature heart logo, as well as accessories including bags, ball caps, beanies, and scarves. In addition to Ami heart products, the 2023 Fall/Winter season collection clothing will also be showcased.
There will also be a promotion to commemorate the store opening. Customers who purchase over $400 will receive an Ami heart sticker, those who purchase over $800 will receive an Ami hat, and those who purchase over $1,600 will receive an Ami wallet, all on a first-come, first-served basis.
Earlier, Ami also opened a pop-up store on the 1st at Shinsegae Department Store Main Branch in Jung-gu, Seoul. There, the 2023 Fall/Winter season collection clothing and oversized jersey items featuring the signature heart logo are presented.
