"From Cost-Effective Gifts to Travel Packages"... 11st Launches Chuseok Promotion
11st announced on the 4th that it will officially launch its Chuseok promotion starting with the ‘2023 Chuseok Prologue’ event. In addition, 11st plans to focus on holiday promotions by holding the ‘Sweet Hangawi Sale’ (11th to 24th) and ‘After Chuseok’ (25th to early October) events.
From the 4th to the 10th, 11st will hold the ‘2023 Chuseok Prologue’ event based on this year’s purchasing trends, offering over 1,200 Chuseok products ranging from cost-effective gift sets that consider the burden of rising basket prices to differentiated products reflecting the changing holiday culture.
For fresh foods, considering the rise in fruit prices due to high inflation and poor harvests, 11st has prepared cost-effective gift sets that satisfy both quality and price through joint planning with local agricultural cooperatives, producers, and brands.
Representative products include the ‘Shine Muscat 1.5kg (around 20,000 KRW)’ with a sugar content of over 15 Brix, offered in collaboration with Gyeongsan Jarin Agricultural Cooperative; ‘Yeonggwang Beopseongpo Gulbi Braided 20 pieces (around 10,000 KRW)’, made with domestic yellow croaker that is not salted but mildly seasoned; and ‘Ilsangmidam 2-week aged premium 1st grade Korean beef ribeye 300g (around 30,000 KRW)’, which is matured at low temperature to enhance flavor.
11st will showcase exclusive planned products through its next-day delivery service ‘Shooting Delivery’ and provide free shipping. Practical sets include the ‘CJ Spam Gift Set No. 11’ with 11 cans of Spam, ‘Dongwon Tuna O-15’ consisting of 15 cans of tuna in three flavors, and ‘Chungjungone Happiness No. 11’ comprising seven items such as soy sauce, vinegar, and salt.
Trend-inspired products are also prepared. Targeting the trends of ‘Yakgetting (Yakgwa + ticketing)’ and ‘Halmaennial (Halmeoni + millennial)’, 11st offers exclusive prices on popular items from the famous Korean dessert cafe ‘My Seoul Bites’ in Songridan-gil, Seoul, such as ‘Yakgwa Cookie Bar 1 box (around 20,000 KRW)’ and ‘Sand Cookie 18 pieces + Walnut Jeonggwa 5 pieces (around 30,000 KRW)’.
In line with the trend of simplifying holiday foods, ‘Yedream Charyesang Table Setting’ is available, delivering ancestral ritual foods to homes on the day before Chuseok, the 28th. The set includes ritual foods such as pollack jeon, yellow croaker, dried pollack, seasoned vegetables, as well as incense, candles, and paper for rituals, allowing easy preparation of the ancestral table. During the event, the Chuseok No. 1 set (for 1-2 people) is offered at a discounted price of 179,000 KRW. 11st also sells various convenient meal products such as ‘Bibigo Soup Dishes’ including ox bone soup and short rib soup, and ‘Premium Choice Grade Handmade Seasoned LA Galbi’.
In response to increased travel demand during the golden holidays from Chuseok to National Foundation Day, 11st offers a variety of overseas flight tickets and domestic accommodation products. Round-trip tickets to Osaka, Tokyo, Fukuoka, Sapporo, and Air Premia flights to Bangkok, Frankfurt, Hawaii, New York, and LA are available at special prices. Additional discounts include a 15,000 KRW coupon for Japanese flight tickets (for payments over 100,000 KRW), a 70,000 KRW coupon for Air Premia flights (for payments over 900,000 KRW), and an 110,000 KRW coupon for overseas flight tickets (for payments over 2,000,000 KRW).
