Busan City Launches Outreach 'Jeonse Damage Prevention Education' Program!
September Registration, October Training
Busan City will conduct a "Visiting Jeonse Fraud Prevention Education" for young people and early career workers in October.
The program aims to prevent young people and early career workers in the region from falling victim to jeonse fraud due to lack of social experience and to help them exercise their rightful rights through preventive education.
In July, the city produced an educational video on preventing jeonse fraud and distributed it to public institutions, local universities, and Meister high schools so that all citizens, including young people and early career workers, could access the video.
The education, under the theme "We Will Tell You All About Jeonse Fraud Prevention and Response!", covers types of jeonse fraud, prevention methods, and precautions during real estate transactions and contracts. A professional instructor in the field will deliver the lecture, making the specialized content easier and more engaging.
Additionally, to maximize the educational effect for busy young attendees, a legal expert instructor will also be invited to provide practical legal education, including legal knowledge, common legal information related to startups, and litigation information.
Notably, this education will be conducted by professional instructors visiting workplaces directly to lecture for workers, prospective members of society, and university students who are busy preparing for employment.
This is part of efforts to enhance the effectiveness of the education and minimize jeonse fraud damage among the youth, proactively protecting the assets of workers, prospective members of society, and university students.
Workplaces, prospective members of society, and universities wishing to participate can secure the education venue and number of participants and apply to the Busan City Jeonse Damage Support Team from the 4th to September 22nd.
The schedule and time of the education will be arranged in consultation with the professional instructor at the desired location.
The professional instructors will be recruited in cooperation with the Busan Branch of the Korea Association of Realtors and the Busan Bar Association to ensure qualified lecturers.
After conducting the education in October, the target scope will be gradually expanded based on the education evaluation.
