Mutual Cooperation for Domestic and International Promotion of the 2030 Busan World Expo Bid, Linking
Busan City will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Yanolja (CEO Bae Bo-chan) for the promotion of the bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo at 11 a.m. on the 4th in the International Protocol Room of City Hall.
At the signing ceremony, Lee Seong-gwon, Deputy Mayor for Economic Affairs of Busan City, and Bae Bo-chan, CEO of Yanolja, are scheduled to sign the MOU.
This agreement was made based on the shared belief that through the successful bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo, Busan and, more broadly, the Republic of Korea can realize their dreams and hopes, and to mutually cooperate in future promotional activities for the bid.
In particular, since Yanolja is a global travel service platform, this MOU holds great significance as it will provide an opportunity to promote the 2030 Busan World Expo more widely both domestically and internationally.
Upon signing this agreement, both organizations will mutually cooperate to ensure the successful bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo by ▲ utilizing networks and various promotional channels for domestic and international publicity ▲ promoting in connection with the 2030 World Expo symposium, the International Bureau of Expositions (BIE) General Assembly, and competitive presentations (PT) ▲ and promoting the 2030 Busan World Expo in conjunction with major international and domestic events.
Bae Bo-chan, CEO of Yanolja, stated, “We will use our extensive domestic and international networks to build a nationwide consensus on the importance of bidding for the 2030 Busan World Expo and actively promote the necessity of the bid to the public. It is very meaningful to contribute as a citizen of the Republic of Korea to the bid for the World Expo, one of the world’s three major mega-events.”
