Gyeonggi-do Selects 60 Outstanding Job-Creating Companies
Gyeonggi Province has selected and announced 60 outstanding job-creating companies.
On the 4th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it recently held the 'Job Excellence Company Certification Review Committee' and finalized this year's outstanding companies.
The Job Excellence Company Certification is a program in which Gyeonggi Province certifies small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that excel in employment, worker welfare, and growth potential.
Companies that receive the Job Excellence Company Certification are granted various incentives, including support for improving employment environments and additional points when applying for SME development funds, totaling 29 types of benefits.
Gyeonggi Province selected 60 companies after conducting on-site investigations, including interviews with company representatives and verification of working conditions, among 181 companies that applied for the certification this year.
Ahn Chi-kwon, Director of the Job and Economic Policy Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, "This year, we revised the evaluation method to select companies that strive to create 'good jobs' rather than simply increasing the number of jobs. Gyeonggi Province will implement policies to support 'more and better' jobs and companies to back continuous job creation and growth."
Gyeonggi Province is recruiting companies to participate in the Employment Environment Improvement Project from the 4th to the 18th of this month.
