The seedling sharing and education event, co-hosted by the district and the Jungnang Urban Agriculture Cooperative (Chairman Jeong Hyun-ho), was attended by about 400 people including Jungnang District Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi, members of the Jungnang Urban Agriculture Cooperative, allotment garden tenants, children from Sangbong Daycare Center, and volunteers.
Over two days, allotment garden tenants received 20 seedlings each of napa cabbage and radish, which are used for kimchi-making, along with 2kg of fertilizer. Urban agriculture experts provided education on how to plant seedlings and seeds, eco-friendly pest and disease control methods, and fertilizer usage.
