Joo-wan Cho, who took the stage as a speaker, introduced LG Electronics' perspective on the mobility industry and future vision under the theme "Taking 'Life's Good' on the Road."
Cho said, "Based on the customer experience know-how accumulated over a long period through home appliances and IT businesses, we aim to present innovative customer experiences for future mobility," adding, "We invite industry leaders to join this journey and collectively enhance growth potential."
LG Electronics recently confirmed through advanced user experience research assuming autonomous driving environments that customers perceive autonomous vehicles as "their own space to play, stay, and work."
Accordingly, LG Electronics redefined the car as a "personalized digital space" based on customer insights. In particular, it developed three future mobility customer experience themes consisting of ▲ Transformable experiences that can be freely modified according to customer needs ▲ Explorable experiences newly enjoyed through content such as XR and webOS ▲ Relaxable experiences for more comfortable rest in the vehicle. The name "Alpha-able" was given, meaning enabling everything.
LG Electronics expects the three themes composing Alpha-able to be the core of future mobility customer experiences. It also explained that customer-centric innovative technologies, services, and content will realize this vision and become differentiators that make LG Electronics stand out.
LG Electronics plans to expand its automotive electronics business centered on three pillars: ▲ In-vehicle infotainment systems (VS Business Division) ▲ Electric vehicle powertrains (LG Magna e-Powertrain) ▲ Automotive lighting systems (ZKW).
