"Jomin's Sponsorship Fund is 10 Million Won"… Jeong Yura Appeals Financial Hardship, 'Account Disclosure'
"Endured 7 Years of Loans After Seeing Mother Pardoned"
Jo Min, who was indicted on charges of admission fraud, recently received donations amounting to 9.7 million won within two hours during a YouTube Live broadcast. Meanwhile, Jung Yoo-ra, the daughter of Choi Seo-won (formerly Choi Soon-sil), also revealed her bank account number to receive donations. She added, “I feel so drained that I want to stow away on a ship, and tears come whenever I think of my mother because of the constant rent demands, but since I have to get my mother out of prison, I will keep living with strength.” She continued, “Many people have asked for my account number, so I’m writing it down here. I am always grateful for your support.”
Jung also posted screenshots of the deposits she received from supporters. The largest amount was 200,000 won.
Jung’s public appeal for financial help by sharing her bank account is being compared to Jo Min’s receipt of nearly 10 million won in donations from supporters.
Previously, Jo Min posted videos of her travels and studies in the United States on YouTube. According to Playboard, a YouTube analytics company, she received donations totaling approximately 9.7 million won during a two-hour broadcast on the 21st of last month.
Jung also revealed her bank account in March when she announced her mother’s surgery.
At that time, Jung said, “There isn’t much time left on the suspension of sentence, and I feel like dying. My mother is undergoing a reoperation today due to inflammation at the shoulder surgery site. She is elderly, and I don’t know how many times she has had general anesthesia. She kept repeating things she said for days and was mentally confused; she was in very bad condition.”
She added, “I hate myself for having to worry about such enormous hospital bills. Please save us. I won’t forget if you help,” requesting support for Choi’s surgery expenses.

She also said, “Today, I envy those who chase after book concerts. I am forced to live even though I want to die, and I feel very upset and exhausted.” This appears to refer to Jo Min, the daughter of former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk. At that time, Jo Min attended her father’s book concert to show support.
