Hosting the 65th Anniversary Celebration of the Founding
Hwaseong Industrial Co., Ltd. (Chairman and CEO Jongwon Lee) held a commemorative ceremony on the 1st at the 7th-floor conference hall of its headquarters in Suseong-gu, Daegu, to celebrate its 65th anniversary. At the ceremony, 16 long-term employees, including four who have served for 30 years, and 12 exemplary employees who have made significant contributions to the company's development received awards and prizes.

View original imageIn his commemorative speech, Chairman Lee said, “The company is now moving toward becoming a 100-year enterprise. While we take pride in the legacy left by the past 65 years, we must be cautious of yesterday’s image, overcome today’s limitations, and boldly move toward the future.” He added, “For sustainable growth in the future, let us innovate anew in all areas such as orders, construction, cost, quality, and safety, and boldly enter new markets and emerging industries such as overseas business and environmental projects to create growth momentum.”
Chairman Lee continued, “As members of our society, we must also set an example in realizing social value. Based on the human-respecting management philosophy that has continued since the company’s founding, let us establish ourselves as a leading company respected by the nation and society in various fields such as environment, labor, safety, welfare, and culture.”

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Hwaseong Industrial had limited the number of attendees at the ceremony considering the infectious disease outbreak, but with the transition to endemic this year, all employees at the headquarters participated in the ceremony. Additionally, for employees who could not attend the ceremony, a live streaming broadcast was provided again this year through YouTube (Hwaseong Park Dream TV), following last year’s practice.
