WONUNIVERSE's 'Champions Arena' Smooth Sailing... 50,000 Cumulative Downloads
Metaverse specialist developer OneUniverse announced on the 1st that its highly anticipated title, ‘Champions Arena,’ has recorded 50,000 cumulative downloads in its first week since launch.
OneUniverse released Champions Arena on the 24th of last month in collaboration with Gala Games, a global blockchain gaming platform. It is a next-generation turn-based RPG (role-playing game) that supports NFT (Non-Fungible Token) and P2E (Play to Earn) features as a Web3 game, available on PC, Google Play Store, and Apple App Store.
Champions Arena garnered high expectations from users, selling out its NFT presale two days ahead of schedule before the official launch. Even without significant marketing or promotions, it has achieved 50,000 cumulative downloads in its first week.
After launch, Champions Arena was featured on the main gaming section of OpenSea, the world’s largest NFT marketplace, and ranked 8th in ‘24-hour NFT trading volume.’ Additionally, it topped the Web3 game social trend rankings, rapidly expanding its user base through word of mouth. In the Web2 market, it has also been highlighted as a ‘Google Play Featured’ app on the Google Play Store, steadily increasing its visibility.
Kim Do-kyung, CPO (Chief Publishing Officer) of OneUniverse, stated, “Key game metrics such as retention, PUR (Paying User Ratio), and ARPPU (Average Revenue Per Paying User) are showing positive results. Not only Web3 gamers but also Web2 users who enjoy the game without NFTs or earning features are performing above average.” He added, “We will soon expand the game ecosystem through full-scale global marketing and target both Web2 and Web3 gaming markets.”

Currently, Champions Arena is celebrating its first week with launch events offering premium summon tickets and download events providing 10 regular summon tickets each. The game is available for download and play on PC via the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Gala Games official website, but it is not playable in Korea.
