Hanwha Aerospace, a Hanwha Group affiliate specializing in space, aviation, and defense, announced on the 1st that it will hire a three-digit number of new employees in the second half of this year.
Hanwha Aerospace will accept applications through Hanwha's official recruitment portal, 'Hanwha In,' from today until 3 PM on the 25th.
They are recruiting for a total of six positions: Research and Development (R&D), Manufacturing and Production Technology, Logistics and Materials Management, Quality Control and Technology, Business Management, and Management Support.
Hanwha Aerospace merged with Hanwha Defense last year and acquired the defense division of Hanwha Corporation in April, launching as an integrated corporation of the group's three defense companies. It has subsidiaries including Hanwha Vision (100%) and Hanwha Systems (46.75%), and is the largest shareholder of Hanwha Ocean with a 24.66% stake.
Through this recruitment, Hanwha Aerospace plans to respond to the increasing manpower demand by business division. Various business projects are ongoing, including the large-scale export of the ‘K9’ self-propelled howitzer and the precision-guided weapon ‘Cheonmu’ to Poland, selection as the preferred negotiation partner for Australia’s ‘Redback’ armored vehicle, and designation as the system integrator for the ‘Nuriho’ launch vehicle.
Hanwha Aerospace also explained that it is proactively securing personnel to prepare for future new businesses such as Urban Air Mobility (UAM).
Since July, they have been continuously recruiting space talent through the ‘Space Hub Crew’ program. The recent new graduate recruitment for the space business, which closed on the 18th of last month, attracted space-related majors nationwide and recorded a competition rate of over 100 to 1. Applicants who were not selected for the ‘Space Hub Crew’ can also apply for this second half new graduate recruitment.
