Lotte Home Shopping Signs Business Agreement to Create Youth Jobs
Expansion of 'Sangsaeng Iljari' Program for Youth
Lotte Homeshopping announced on the 1st that it has signed a 'Business Agreement for Youth Job Creation' with the Federation of Korean Industries Small and Medium Business Cooperation Center, Korea Radio Promotion Association, and Asia Exchange Association.
The business agreement ceremony was held on the 31st at the Korea Radio Promotion Association 1-Person Media Complex in Jung-gu, Seoul, attended by Park Jae-hong, Head of Marketing Division at Lotte Homeshopping, Park Cheol-han, Director of the Federation of Korean Industries Small and Medium Business Cooperation Center, Song Jeong-su, Executive Vice President of Korea Radio Promotion Association, and other officials.

Through this agreement, Lotte Homeshopping will expand the 'Win-Win Job' program, a career interruption support program for women operated since 2018, to target youth. As content commerce becomes a trend in the distribution industry, media content education will be provided to connect participants to employment. Seventy candidates will be selected this month, and starting from the 4th of next month, training will be conducted on distribution industry and home shopping jobs, broadcasting planning, live commerce practice, and personal portfolio creation. A job fair will also be held where small and medium partner companies and trainees will have one-on-one recruitment consultations. Outstanding graduates will be given opportunities for overseas training to benchmark the global distribution environment.

A Lotte Homeshopping official said, "We decided to expand the Win-Win Job project from this year to support young people who are having difficulties in job searching," adding, "We will contribute to youth job creation through practical education and employment support such as media content production."
