Hanse Yes24 Cultural Foundation Selects 10 Humanities Papers... Total Support of 120 Million KRW
Hansei YES24 Cultural Foundation announced on the 31st that it will select 10 papers and provide 120 million KRW in support for the pure humanities research and development in Korea. As part of the '2nd Humanities Research Support Project,' research funds of up to 12 million KRW per paper will be provided. The research funds will be paid in installments according to the stages, and full support will be given only for papers published in KCI-registered journals or international academic journals (A&HCI, SCOPUS) after the completion of the research. The award ceremony was held on the morning of the 31st at the Dong-A Publishing headquarters training center of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business in Yeouido, Seoul, with Baek Sumi, Chairperson of Hansei YES24 Cultural Foundation, in attendance.

Hansei YES24 Cultural Foundation is a social contribution foundation established in 2014 by Kim Dong-nyeong, Chairman of Hansei YES24 Holdings, who donated his private assets. It carries out various social contribution projects such as operating overseas volunteer groups for university students to help Korea and Asian countries understand each other’s cultures beyond economic cooperation, providing scholarships for foreign students in Korea, holding art exhibitions introducing works by promising Asian writers, publishing Southeast Asian literature series, and supporting academic research.
