Beomhan Fuel Cell Donates 5 Million Won to Families of Abused Children in Changwon Special City
On the 31st, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held a donation relay ceremony in the city hall reception room for the ‘Restoration of Family Function for Abused Children’ program.
The donation relay project for abused children, titled ‘Even if Scratched by Petals, Scars Remain,’ involves donors contributing more than 1 million KRW and then nominating the next participant or voluntarily donating. The third donor, following the first and second, was Beomhan Fuel Cell, which donated 5 million KRW.
Beomhan Fuel Cell donated 5 million won to Changwon Special City on the 31st for families of children who suffered abuse.
View original imageThe funds raised through the donation relay will be used to support various programs aimed at restoring the family functions of abused children who require intensive case management and preventing re-abuse, including ▲home visits by professional counselors ▲family cultural and experiential activities ▲family photo shoots.
With the first and second donations previously received, family function restoration programs have been supported for 10 households of abused children, receiving positive responses. With the third donation, various programs will be promoted to help more families of abused children recover their daily lives and strengthen their capabilities.
CEO Jeong Young-sik said, “I hope abused children can regain bright daily lives within healthy families.”
