Gyeongnam Governor Park Wan-su Listens to Voices from the Milyang Public Postpartum Care Center Site
Park Wansu, Governor of Gyeongsangnam-do, visited the Miryang Public Postpartum Care Center on the 30th along with Heo Dongsik, Vice Mayor of Miryang, to reflect on the center's one-year operation and to hear the voices of the staff and those on site regarding its management.
Since its opening on June 13 last year, the Miryang Public Postpartum Care Center has maintained an operating rate of 73%, taking responsibility for postpartum care of mothers and the health of newborns, contributing to creating the optimal childbirth environment in Miryang City.

He shared conversations with Hong Seonggwon, Director of Jeil Hospital, and Kim Chaehyun, Team Leader of the Public Postpartum Care Center, exchanging stories about the challenges and touching moments experienced during the past year of operating the center.
Vice Mayor Heo Dongsik also attended the event and said, “We thank the governor for visiting Miryang to listen to the voices from the field,” adding, “We hope for continued support in making Miryang the optimal city for childbirth.”

He further stated, “With the strong support from the province and the capabilities of Miryang City combined, it seems that the day when the Miryang Public Postpartum Care Center becomes the national standard model for postpartum care centers is not far off,” and added, “We will spare no effort to create the best environment for mothers and newborns.”
