CJ CheilJedang's premium meal kit brand ‘COOKIT’ is expanding its frozen product lineup.
On the 31st, CJ CheilJedang announced the launch of three new frozen meal kits that allow consumers to easily enjoy popular dining-out menus at home.
The three new products introduced this time are ‘Rich Broth Gopchang Jeongol’, ‘Assorted Ingredients Spam Budae Jeongol’, and ‘Brisket Broth King Dumpling Jeongol’. These meal kits were developed using CJ CheilJedang’s differentiated technology and signature products, featuring popular Korean dishes favored by consumers.
The Rich Broth Gopchang Jeongol offers a spicy and deep soup flavor made with rich beef bone broth, assorted vegetables, and stir-fried seasoning. Especially, CJ CheilJedang’s unique technology eliminates the unpleasant odor of gopchang (beef intestines) to allow even beginners to enjoy the dish without any burden. The Assorted Ingredients Spam Budae Jeongol features a hearty meal with beef bone broth, two types of ham including Spam, sausages, dumplings, and ramen noodles. The Brisket Broth King Dumpling Jeongol, containing Bibigo’s signature King Dumplings, combines the deep and mild taste of brisket broth with the subtle sweetness of napa cabbage, creating the perfect soup flavor to complement the king dumplings.

Last year, COOKIT expanded its product categories by launching frozen products with reduced volume for easier storage. With this new release, the total frozen meal kit lineup now includes 12 varieties. A CJ CheilJedang official stated, “COOKIT meal kits are premium products that allow consumers to conveniently enjoy popular dining-out menus at home through recipes containing chefs’ secrets and the highest quality ingredients,” adding, “We will continue to introduce various menus tailored to consumer preferences to establish COOKIT as a leading meal kit brand.”
