Gmarket "Buy One Hong Kong Air Ticket, Get One More Free"
Gmarket, a leading domestic online marketplace, announced on the 31st that it will hold a 'Hong Kong Airfare 1+1 Promotion' from 9:00 AM on September 1 to September 30. The promotion will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for a total of 450 people.
This event was planned in collaboration with Hong Kong Airport Authority and Cathay Pacific Airways to reflect the recent surge in overseas travel demand, offering abundant benefits such as cashback accumulation and discounts on Hong Kong hotels.
The airfare is for Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong’s representative premium airline, and is a 1+1 product allowing two people to travel for the price of one. It applies when searching and booking round-trip economy class tickets from Incheon to Hong Kong for two or more adults (even number of passengers). The travel period is from September 1, 2023, to February 21, 2024.
Mileage accumulation, two free checked bags per person (23kg each), and free advance seat reservations are also available. However, fuel surcharges and other taxes are the responsibility of the customer. Refunds are not possible, and if unused, only fuel surcharges and other taxes will be refunded.
A Smile Cash 20,000 KRW accumulation benefit is also provided. Eligible customers are those who book and use both Hong Kong airfare and hotels during September and October. The airfare must be a round-trip Cathay Pacific ticket, and hotels must be booked through Expedia and HotelPass travel agencies for any hotel in the Hong Kong area. Cashback will be credited in bulk on November 17. Additionally, up to 10% discounts are offered on Hong Kong hotels and SIM cards.
