Millie's Library "Reward for Reporting Security Vulnerabilities"
Reading platform Millie's Library announced on the 30th that it will run a 'Bug Bounty Challenge' to identify security vulnerabilities until August 20th next year. A 'Bug Bounty' refers to a security vulnerability reporting reward system. It is a measure to prevent user damage by identifying security vulnerabilities rather than malicious hacking, and rewards are paid differently according to the type and risk level of the vulnerability. This is interpreted as a measure to strengthen personal information protection as security issues in the publishing industry have recently attracted attention.
Millie's Library stated that it plans to run the Bug Bounty Challenge together with Platform PatchDay, operated by the security startup Tiori.
