On the afternoon of the 29th, Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, held a 'Chuseok Food Sharing Ceremony' for low-income families at the Yeongdeungpo District Social Welfare Council's Hope Suragan.
The ceremony was attended by Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, Kang Hyun-ae, Director of the Korea Sharing Federation, and Park Young-jun, Chairman of the Yeongdeungpo District Social Welfare Council. The Korea Sharing Federation donated 1,000 bags of 10kg rice and 1,000 boxes of 40-pack ramen to support low-income families in the area.
The donated items will be distributed to local community centers, food markets, and social welfare facilities through the Yeongdeungpo District Social Welfare Council.
