Kolon Global Signs Environmental Sector Business Agreement with Korea Testing Laboratory
Kolon Global announced on the 29th that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Testing Laboratory to strengthen technological capabilities in environmental fields such as green hydrogen and waste resource recycling.

Through this business agreement, both organizations will enhance exchanges in environmental fields and promote mutual education and training for technical diagnosis of pollution prevention facilities, measurement and analysis of hazardous substances, acquisition of environmental new technology certifications, and training of testing and certification experts. Close technical cooperation is also expected in areas of mutual interest, such as the development of bioelectrochemical-based green hydrogen production technology, clean hydrogen testing and evaluation, and related technology development research.
Kolon Global is continuously strengthening its competitiveness in future new businesses through ongoing research and development and technology certification in eco-friendly fields such as hydrogen and water treatment technologies. The company is actively promoting an energy project using reformed hydrogen produced from organic waste biogas plants, and is jointly developing technology to produce hydrogen using microbial electrolysis from food waste in collaboration with the Korea Testing Laboratory as part of a Ministry of Environment national research project.
