"Help Vulnerable Children"... Daegu Bank Labor Union Donates 30 Million Won
The Daegu Bank branch of the National Financial Industry Labor Union (Chairman Kim Jeong-won) donated 30 million KRW in funds for vulnerable children in urgent need of support through Daegu City and the Daegu Social Welfare Council (Chairman Kim Seok-pyo).
The donation, delivered on the 28th at Daegu Bank’s Suseong-dong headquarters, was raised to assist children who are suffering from neglect or abuse in homes that should be protective, or who urgently require care or support due to critical illnesses.

View original imageThe entire donation was raised through a 1% salary sharing contribution from DGB Daegu Bank employees, adding special significance. The funds will be used in cooperation with Daegu City and the Daegu Social Welfare Council to help vulnerable children in need across eight districts and counties.
The Daegu Bank branch of the National Financial Industry Labor Union continues to practice neighborly love in collaboration with local social contribution organizations, expanding social contribution activities by personally sharing the love received from the community through broad support for various social groups.
From donation activities involving all employees to support for vulnerable crime victims, the Daegu Mentoring Baseball Team, and heatwave relief support for residents of jjokbang (small, cramped rooms), their timely contributions to those in need have drawn attention.
