It was verified that they possess the inherent physical properties required of PET, such as viscosity, injection moldability, and glass transition temperature, making them recyclable after use.
The U.S. Plastics Recycling Association is an organization representing the plastic recycling industry and operates a certification program to enhance plastic recyclability. It is leading the expansion of eco-friendly plastic policies that enable recycling in the U.S., including the passage of the first U.S. single-use plastic regulation bill in California last June.
Global beverage companies and cosmetic brands such as Pepsi, Coca-Cola, and L'Or?al participate in the U.S. Plastics Recycling Association, and with this certification, SK Chemicals expects to expand global sales of recyclable materials.
