Yakult Delivery Workers Also Deliver Cards... BC Card Partners with hy
Strengthening Platform-Based Marketing
Providing Corporate-Specialized Payment Services
BC Card is partnering with hy (formerly Korea Yakult) to jointly promote businesses such as card delivery service collaboration.
On the 29th, BC Card announced that it had signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with hy the day before regarding this matter.
Through this MOU, BC Card and hy plan to pursue ▲ card delivery service partnership ▲ strengthening B2C marketing based on both companies' platforms ▲ corporate specialized payment services ▲ discovering additional synergy business opportunities.
First, BC Card will entrust the card delivery work to hy’s nationwide 550 sales offices and approximately 11,000 ‘Fresh Managers.’ This is based on the judgment that cards can be delivered more conveniently and closely through Fresh Managers who operate closest to customers, from residential areas to business districts.
Customer benefits will be enhanced through cooperation between both companies’ platforms, such as BC Card’s ‘Paybook’ and hy’s ‘Predit.’ They plan to aim for synergy between finance and healthcare.
Corporate specialized payment services will also be provided to hy. Based on BC Card’s corporate payment infrastructure and know-how, it will support hy’s smooth and efficient management activities.
In addition, the two companies plan to actively discover business areas that can create synergy effects based on their technological capabilities and various resources.
