Yeosu Daesin Gikong Co., Ltd. and Yongho Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. Registered as 'Nanum Myeongmun Companies'
Companies Donating Over 100 Million Won or Pledging Donations Within 3 Years Join
Daeshin Machinery Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Cheol-hee) and Yongho Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong Seong-ho), located in Yeosu City, Jeollanam-do, were respectively registered as the 10th and 11th “Sharing Prestigious Companies” in Jeollanam-do (376th and 377th nationwide).
The “Sharing Prestigious Company” is a representative high-donation corporate donor group of the Community Chest of Korea, and companies that have donated more than 100 million KRW or pledged donations within three years can join.
Daeshin Machinery Co., Ltd. and Yongho Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. practice various forms of sharing, including donations to support low-income families, providing freezers and cultural activity support to child welfare facilities, and vehicle support to welfare centers for the disabled. They are also active members of the Honor Society, a group of high donors in Jeollanam-do.
At the registration ceremony held in the mayor’s office on the 25th, the Jeollanam-do Community Chest of Korea presented the “Sharing Prestigious Company” plaques to Daeshin Machinery Co., Ltd. and Yongho Machinery Technology Co., Ltd., and Yeosu Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong joined to encourage the social contribution activities of both companies.
On this day, the representatives of the two companies said, “We are very pleased to be able to use part of our corporate profits for the welfare of our local neighbors,” and added, “We will continue to be companies that coexist with the region in all aspects of profit generation and sharing.”
In response, Yeosu Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong said, “These two companies have led the culture of sharing and become exemplary role models for corporate social contribution,” and added, “With such positive influence, our society will become warmer.”
