A Woman in Her 30s Arrested for Threatening with a Weapon at Gwangju Subway Station
A woman in her 30s who harbored resentment against a subway station staff member she previously argued with and threatened them with a weapon was arrested by the police.
The Gwangju Western Police Station announced on the 25th that they had booked A (30) without detention on charges of special intimidation.
A is accused of threatening a station staff member with a weapon at Sangmu Station in Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, at around 5:50 p.m. the previous day.
According to the police investigation, A had spat on the floor of Sangmu Station and argued with the station staff two days earlier, then took a weapon from home on the way to work.
After packing the weapon in her bag, A caused a disturbance to another station staff member at Sangmu Station, and when the staff member discovered the weapon, they reported it to the police, who arrested A in the act.
