The Gyeonggi Environment and Energy Promotion Agency operates the Gyeonggi-do Upcycle Plaza and is holding a mascot character contest to promote citizen participation in upcycle culture and to revitalize the promotion of the Upcycle Plaza.
This contest is open to anyone interested in the Gyeonggi-do Upcycle Plaza and upcycling, regardless of individual, team, region, or age. Applications can be submitted to the Gyeonggi-do Upcycle Plaza by September 15.
The contest category is "Gyeonggi-do Upcycle Plaza Mascot Character." Participants wishing to enter must submit a design including a basic mascot character and at least two applied actions, along with storytelling materials containing the mascot character's name, features, personality, and origin story.
The winning entries will be selected through evaluation based on suitability, creativity, completeness, and usability.
The results will be announced on the Gyeonggi-do Upcycle Plaza website.
