Mapo-gu, Full Effort in National Crisis Management... Final Review of Eulji Exercise
Mapo-gu (District Mayor Park Gang-su) held the final debriefing session for the 2023 Eulji Exercise on the afternoon of the 24th at the district office's comprehensive exhibition situation room.
This Eulji Exercise, jointly conducted by the 218th Brigade 1st Battalion, Mapo Police Station, Mapo Fire Station, and other related agencies, began with an emergency assembly drill on the morning of the 21st and continued for four days with substantial training aimed at establishing emergency preparedness, including ▲discussion of wartime issues ▲cardiopulmonary resuscitation training ▲civil defense drills.
In particular, at 2:30 p.m. on the 24th in Sangam-dong, an actual drill was conducted in collaboration with MBC Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation to prepare for explosive device detection and drone explosion scenarios, concluding amid a tense on-site atmosphere.
The final debriefing session was attended by District Mayor Park Gang-su, department heads, and related agencies to share the achievements, issues, and improvements of this year’s Eulji Exercise and to discuss the direction for next year’s implementation.

District Mayor Park Gang-su stated, “The sweat shed during the training will serve as a solid foundation to protect the lives and property of residents in the event of an emergency,” adding, “We will thoroughly prepare to conduct more effective training next year by reflecting the improvement directions discussed at the debriefing session in the Chungmu Plan.”
