Busan Port Authority (BPA) will operate a joint inspection team consisting of the Busan Port Construction Office and private experts to inspect and provide consultation on the condition of facilities subject to transfer in the first phase of the Busan North Port redevelopment project.
The joint inspection team is composed of 25 members, including BPA and Bu Construction Office officials, as well as private experts in architecture, civil engineering construction, geotechnical engineering, and structural fields.
They plan to analyze the condition and causes of defects of the facilities subject to transfer in the North Port redevelopment area, such as underground parking lots, waterfront parks, roads, and bridges, and provide consultation on repair and reinforcement measures accordingly.
