Sunchang-gun Hosts Career Experience and Career Exploration Concert for Youth

On the 23rd, Sunchang County in Jeonbuk held a career experience and youth career exploration concert for about 200 students at Sunchang High School auditorium.

According to the county on the 24th, this event featured career experience booths operated by a total of seven mentors, including creators, young farmers, travel experts, webtoon artists, calligraphers, photographers, and actor directors, to enhance understanding and interest in various occupations.

The mentors and youth shared their experiences and engaged in meaningful conversations about careers and occupations, forming a sense of empathy.

Following this, a music performance by the Goni Band and a talk concert hosted by Jeonju MBC announcer Lee Choong-hoon and Wonkwang University professor Kim Jung-bae were held.

In particular, the hosts delivered hopeful messages to the current youth who live feeling fear of the future and the weight of life, which received great responses from the students.

The participating youth said, “We received hopeful messages that helped us take a step closer to our future goals that we think of ourselves, rather than choosing a job based on social concepts,” and “It was a great time to think again about various occupational groups and our own dreams, wondering which career would lead to a happy and fulfilling life.”

Choi Hyung-gu, head of the Economic and Transportation Division of the county, said, “You young people here are the hope and future of Sunchang. I hope you live doing what you truly want to do,” and added, “We will continue to discover various policies and provide active support so that our students can pursue their dreams.”
