Gwangju Buk-gu, Recruiting Participants for Artificial Intelligence Match-Up Program
On the 24th, Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that it will recruit participants for the 'Artificial Intelligence Matchup Program' starting from the 28th.
The Artificial Intelligence Matchup Program is a project that Buk-gu has been promoting since 2020 to cultivate practical talents in the 4th industrial revolution in the region and proactively respond to the workforce demand of companies in related fields.
In particular, this year's program will switch the education method, which was previously conducted online, to face-to-face in collaboration with Seoyoung University Lifelong Education Center for more efficient talent development.
This program, targeting university students, businesspeople, and residents in Buk-gu, consists of five courses directly conducted by 4th industrial revolution specialized professors from Seoyoung University: ▲ Artificial Intelligence Basics ▲ Basic Artificial Intelligence Programming ▲ Arduino Coding Practice ▲ Autonomous Driving Program Practice ▲ Big Data Utilization.
Participants can take up to three courses in the education program held at Seoyoung University Lifelong Education Center from the 20th of next month until November, and if they complete more than 70% of each course, they can receive full tuition support.
Applications for the courses can be submitted from the 28th of this month to the 17th of next month by filling out the application form posted on the Seoyoung University Lifelong Education Center website and submitting it by visiting the center, fax, or email.

A Buk-gu official said, "If the region's representative industries and artificial intelligence technology are combined, the gap between the metropolitan area and local regions will be reduced through direct and indirect job creation," adding, "We will generously support the cultivation of 4th industrial revolution talents who will lead regional development to be produced more in our area."
