Incheon TP to Operate Youth Creative Robot Classroom Until December
Incheon Technopark (Incheon TP) has decided to operate the 'Youth Creative Robot Classroom' from September to December to nurture future leaders in the robot industry and is recruiting 100 students on a first-come, first-served basis.
This program, aimed at elementary school students in the Incheon area, offers five courses: ▲ Robot Making Class (Grades 1-6, Basic and Advanced) ▲ Robot Coding Class (Grades 3-5) ▲ Robot 3D Design Class (Grades 3-5) ▲ Robot Metaverse Class (Grades 3-6), with no tuition fee except for laptops and teaching materials.
Selected students will attend face-to-face classes with professional instructors at the Robot Tower in Cheongna International City on weekends from September 16 to December 10, and a certificate of completion will be issued upon finishing all courses. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the Incheon TP website starting from the 28th.
An Incheon TP official stated, "This educational program aims to cultivate creativity and thinking skills in growing youth through hands-on robot making experiences and to nurture their dreams of becoming robot scientists. We plan to continue operating this program to serve as a foundation for fostering talent who will lead the future robot industry."

Meanwhile, the Youth Creative Robot Classroom has been operated by Incheon City since 2004, the first of its kind in Korea, and approximately 6,300 students have completed the program to date.
