LIG donated 40 million KRW to support young adults preparing for independence.
On the 23rd, LIG announced that it held an event to deliver project funds to World Vision, an international relief and development NGO, to support young adults preparing for independence.
On the 22nd, at the World Vision Seoul headquarters, LIG CEO Choi Yong-jun handed over the 'Self-Help Project Fund for Young Adults Preparing for Independence' to World Vision Chairman Jo Myung-hwan.

View original imageThis event, which has continued since 2021, is promoted as part of LIG's social contribution activities. The project funds will be used for living expenses and housing costs necessary during the independence process of young adults who must leave legal protective facilities and live independently.
CEO Choi Yong-jun said, "We hope that young adults preparing for independence will enter society stably and plan and choose their lives autonomously," adding, "We will strive to bring about sustainable change throughout society through corporate social responsibility."
Chairman Jo Myung-hwan expressed, "We are deeply grateful for the valuable donation and will support young adults preparing for independence to design their own lives and settle as healthy members of society."

In addition to supporting young adults preparing for independence, LIG carries out various social contribution activities such as medical expense support for vulnerable patients, support projects for low-income national veterans, and sponsorship of the Korea Disabled Football Association.
