"Let's Gather Popular K-League Players"... Seven Eleven, K-League Panini Cards
100 Popular Players and 7 Legend Players
Seven Eleven announced on the 23rd that it will exclusively release the 'K League Panini Cards' for K League soccer fans.
Panini cards are known as the "Pok?mon cards of the soccer world" and are collectible photo cards produced by Panini, Italy's longest-running sports card company. Panini holds a unique position in soccer cards and has produced official licensed cards and sticker albums for globally popular sports such as the FIFA World Cup and the English Premier League (EPL).
Seven Eleven decided to release the K League Panini Cards in collaboration with the Korea Professional Sports Federation, as the photo card collecting culture, popular among idol fans, has recently become a trend among sports fans, and the popularity of K League players has surged following the Qatar World Cup.
The K League Panini Cards consist of photos of 100 popular K League players and 7 legendary players. To enhance the fun of collecting, the cards are released in Basic and Special editions. The Basic cards feature photos of 100 current K League representative players, while the Special cards include 7 legendary players such as Hong Myung-bo and Lee Chun-soo, 13 cards featuring each club and the K League logo, and 30 players who are especially popular among K League players, including Baek Seung-ho, Seol Young-woo, and Lee Seung-woo. Additionally, among all K League Panini Cards, there are 50 ultra-rare cards containing autographs of popular players like Hong Myung-bo and Koo Ja-cheol, expected to stimulate collectors' purchasing desires.
