It is known that Spears and Asghari have already separated and that Asghari has filed for divorce. Spears stated, "Six years is a long time to be with someone," adding, "It's a bit shocking, but honestly, no one else’s business, so I am not writing this to explain the reasons."

She continued, "I have pretended to be strong for too long, and while my Instagram may look perfect, I think everyone knows it is far from reality," confessing that she always had to show a good image on Instagram.
She added, "I want to show the real feelings and tears I have, but I always had to hide my weaknesses," expressing the pressure of portraying a perfect life.
