The area diagnosed for improvement to enhance integrity is the 'eradication of fraudulent overtime claims by public officials.' Going forward, the county announced a high-intensity policy that demands disciplinary action regardless of the number of times inappropriate overtime is detected.
The main contents of the countermeasures to eradicate fraudulent overtime claims include additional disadvantageous measures against the approvers of overtime when 'fraudulent overtime claims by affiliated public officials' are detected, and 'undercover inspections' of public officials who register abnormal overtime compared to the relevant work.
In addition, the audit department plans to conduct frequent service inspections to eradicate fraudulent overtime claims by public officials.
