In this regard, Aquaretail held a business briefing session on the 17th at the Grand K Hotel located in Hanoi, Vietnam. Park Doyoung, head of Aquaretail, presented on ▲the role of E-vouchers (mobile coupons) in the Vietnamese e-commerce industry ▲introduction and differentiation strategy of Aqua Voucher ▲business promotion direction, outlining the future vision of Aqua Voucher.
Aquaretail plans to apply security-specialized technology in the mobile coupon issuance and authentication process to reduce the risk of hacking and theft, providing a safe service. By using the industry's first UUID-based voucher code, it eliminates the limitations of the existing 10 to 20-digit codes, and when using mobile coupons, it employs an OTP (One-Time Passcode)-based authentication method to allow exchanges only within the valid time.
At the event, the first mobile coupon issuance through the Aqua Voucher service was conducted for attendees. In an experience zone configured in a store format, attendees had the opportunity to directly use mobile coupons and experience the authentication process, attracting much interest.
Park Doyoung, head of Aquaretail, said, “Based on the know-how and technological capabilities of KT Alpha, which has led Korea's mobile coupon industry, we will lead the Vietnamese mobile coupon market and further contribute to the development of the e-commerce industry. We will provide a safe and differentiated mobile coupon service so that users can use it comfortably without concerns about security incidents such as hacking and theft.”
